Abstract

Work fatigue is one of the occupational health and safety problems which can be a risk factor for accidents while working. According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), around 32% of employees in the world experience fatigue due to work. The impact of work fatigue is decreased work performance, body feeling unwell, decreased work enthusiasm. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between working time, body mass index, smoking habits and exercise habits on work fatigue. The population of this study was 35 employees. The sampling method uses total sampling technique. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires. This type of quantitative research uses a cross sectional method. The results showed a relationship between working time (p = 0.012), BMI (p = 0.040), smoking habits (p = 0.012), and exercise habits (p = 0.001). with work fatigue. It is hoped that companies can consider managing work time, food consumption, preventing smoking habits, and stretching every 4 hours for employees to avoid work fatigue.
