Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by mosquito bites by DEN1, DEN2, DEN3, or DEN4 viruses and also mosquito bites of dengue vectors classified as viruses caused by flaviruses and flavivirdae athrophodes entering the bloodstream. The role of jumantik cadres and community behavior play an important role in preventing dengue fever. The incidence of dengue fever occurs due to the role of jumantik cadres who are less active and the behavior of the community is not good. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The data used is primary data using questionnaires through google forms. From 99 communities, the prevalence of dengue incidence was 71.7%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a meaningful relationship between the role of jumantik cadres (p = 0.023) and community behavior (p = 0.037) in the incidence of dengue fever in RW 02 of Jatiwaringin Bekasi Output in 2023. It is expected that jumantik cadres can provide information through counseling and PSN activities regularly and in collaboration with local Puskesmas
